Upcoming Dates – Revised 5/13
May 6, 2012 As the track season comes to a close, please keep in mind the following dates:
Monday 5/14 – Team Spaghetti Dinner – This is considered part of practice and all expected to attend. All team members are asked to contribute one item as assigned below. All items should be dropped off in the high school commons by 7:20am on this day.
Bacos – Frasch One package of noodles already cooked
Fricke - Merkel One jar of spaghetti sauce (large)
Moczynski – Rait One loaf of bread (pre-buttered)
Ratajski – Stefanec One pan/package of desserts
Swanson – Walter One package of plastic utensils (forks and spoons)
Weirich – Woida One package of sturdy paper plates
Tuesday 5/15 – Woodland Conference Outdoor (V) @ Greendale – No practice for JV
Thursday 5/17 – Woodland Conferenc Outdoor (JV) @ Wauwatosa West
Monday 5/21 – WIAA Regional Meet @ Home – All JV’s are needed to work the meet. Top 4 in each event qualify for sectionals.
Thursday 5/24 – WIAA Sectional Meet @ Wisconsin Lutheran. Top 3 in each event qualify for state.
Thursday 5/31 – Leave for state meet at 11:00am
Friday 6/1 and Saturday 6/2 – WIAA State Meet @ UW-LaCrosse
Sunday 6/3 or Sunday 6/10 – Boys Track Team Recognition Luncheon. These are tentative dates that we are considering. We will have a pot luck type luncheon in the school commons that starts at noon and lasts approximately 2-2.5 hours. Dress is casual. I will need some parent volunteers to assist with this. Please let me know if you are available.
Monday 6/4 – Spring Sports Awards @ South Milwaukee PAC 6:30pm. All boys are expected to attend. Boys should dress in a nice shirt and pants. No jeans please.
